WEEK OF JANUARY 23, 2017 •
Our PR team's dedicated efforts pushed our clients to the forefront of the spotlight this week! The results included notable mentions for NUDESTIX in beauty lifestyle websites, Bustle and Hello Giggles – reaching more than 27.5 million readers! Our growing relationship with beauty editors from fashion & beauty online website, NYLON, lead to a fantastic inclusion for the brand – valued at nearly $11,000. This week was a great example of how a the combination of print, online & social media effectively keeps our clients relevant and positioned as a leading expert. Dr. Ava's mention in People StyleWatch placed her in front of 8.25 million readers. Features in lifestyle websites Byrdie and Bustle added another 17.2 million readers to the mix, and her feature in a New Beauty Magazine video placed her in front of 247,000 targeted subscriber – for a combined total of 26 MILLION people!

Thanks to our PR team’s diligent efforts, our clients were at the forefront of the spotlight this week! Driving activities resulted in exclusives for the launch of NUDESTIX’s Magnetic Matte Lip Pencils. Among this week's top mentions for NUDESTIX include multiple brand and product features in publications such as Cosmopolitan, Yahoo!, PopSugar, Women's Wear Daily, InStyle and Influenster, reaching 45 million readers! Leading health and fitness expert Dr. Robert Huizenga also received fabulous media exposure! Reaching more than 16 million readers, Dr. H describes subtle signs of diabetes to Bustle readers. The Spotlight team also facilitated an interview for Dr. Ava Shamban with New Beauty Magazine, also published on Yahoo!, reachig an amazing 10 million readers! Dr. Ava's skincare expertise was also highlighted in The Cheat Sheet, Influenster, and Who What Wear.
WEEK OF JANUARY 9, 2017 •
The Spotlight team is starting the New Year off strong! As a result of our PR efforts during the opening of celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban’s new skin space, SKINxFIVE, we secured a half page feature in the Jan/Feb issue of Los Angeles’ Angeleno Magazine, with 810,000 impressions. Her exposure didn’t stop there…read on to also see Angeleno’s online mention, inclusion in Glamour.com as well as Cheat Sheet and The Palisadian News’s two-page feature on the new venture. Additionally, this week, thriving makeup brand Nudestix was included in two beauty articles one of the leading beauty websites, PopSugar, for a combined media value of $177,565. Following suite, our also team leveraged an exclusive sneak peek of their new pencils via the digital microblog, Obsessee with a Snapchat Takeover reaching 1.5k followers.
WEEK OF JANUARY 2, 2017 •
Happy New Year from the Spotlight Team! 2017 is off to a great start for our clients. The Spotlight PR team arranged for booming makeup brand NUDESTIX to be featured in three great articles to kick off the year! Allure recommended the NUDESTIX Gel Color Lip + Cheek Pencil in Wicked as a great lip shade for fair skin. The blog Little Blushing Birdie also ranked the Gel Color Lip + Cheek Pencil as the Best Lip Pencil of 2016. In addition, StyleNest UK interviewed NUDESTIX's Co-Founder Taylor Frankel and got the inside scoop on the inspiration behind the brand's success. Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban also had a great week. Dr. Shamban’s new skin space, SKINxFIVE was featured in the local Palisadian Post. The article highlighted Dr. Shamban’s partners in the creation of the space.

Happy Holidays from the Spotlight team! This week, our PR team coordinated several huge stories for our fabulous clients. Celebrity dentists Dr. Bill Dorfman told LA Times readers why it is just as important for celebrities to have shining white teeth on the red carpet as it is for them to have dazzling dresses. Dr. Bill was also featured in a Bustle article that covered all the nasty things that can happen if you don't visit the dentist regularly. Spotlight also secured great media coverage for the booming makeup brand, NUDESTIX. Their new holiday #BerryNudeLips Kit, which includes three Lip + Cheek favorites, was featured in Teen Vogue's under $50 beauty gift guide. Last but not least, our PR team facilitated several interviews for celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban. In an Influenster article, Dr. Shamban explained the benefits of using gold in skincare products.

As the holidays near, our clients are still knocking it out of the park in the media! This week Dr. Ava Shamban’s new skin space, SKINxFIVE, was featured in a Huffington Post article on new skincare trends. SKINxFIVE offers cutting edge skincare treatments that are fast and effective. The booming makeup brand NUDESTIX was also in the spotlight. This week, our PR team coordinated several press placements for the beauty brand. PopSugar published NUDESTIX Co-founder Taylor Frankel’s ultimate millennial beauty gift guide where she shared some of her favorite items this season, including a few NUDESTIX products. In addition, celebrity dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman was featured on the front page of the Daily Bruin newspaper. The article explained how Dr. Bill, a UCLA alum, is giving back to students and the community.

Happy December! Our clients definitely stole the spotlight this week. Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban was featured in Allure’s article, “The Anti-Aging Treatments Pain Scale You Need to Know About,” where she explains the levels of discomfort and the side effects of certain treatments such as Botox, Restylane and Juvéderm. Celebrity dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman also had a great week in the press! Dr. Bill was featured in Bustle’s article explaining why you should visit your dentist twice a year to prevent a small problem from turning into a big problem. Thanks to our PR team, sensational makeup brand NUDESTIX was featured in several popular publications including PopSugar, Teen Vogue, Essence, HelloGiggles and Parade. Co-founder Taylor Frankel wrote an article for PopSugar demonstrating how fast and easy it is to use NUDESTIX Sculpting Pencils.

Happy Thanksgiving – we are so thankful for our clients! This week, leading health and fitness expert Dr. Robert Huizenga was featured on Good Day LA where he commented on marijuana use among athletes. Our PR team also coordinated some great press for the booming makeup brand, NUDESTIX! Jenny Frankel, the CEO and founder of Nudestix, was featured in Racked’s article in which she explained how a minority investment has helped the brand grow. Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban was also featured in an article for NewBeauty this week. Dr. Ava explained why she turns down patients who want her to recreate a celebrity’s image. Lastly, Dr. Tina Koopersmith, founder of West Coast Women’s Reproductive Center, was featured in a Bustle article in which she explained some of the lesser-known side effects of birth control.

As the weather cools down, our clients are heating up! Our PR team secured some great press for several of our clients this week. The booming makeup brand NUDESTIX was featured in multiple articles that highlighted their innovative and long-wearing products. NUDESTIX’s Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil in Stiletto was featured in Refinery29’s article on lipsticks that look great on everyone. Dr. Tina Koopersmith of West Coast Women’s Reproductive Center also had a fabulous week in the press! Dr. Koopersmith was featured in Yahoo!’s article that explained the costs and concerns associated with donor eggs, as part of a new IVF technique. Last but not least, celebrity dentist Dr. Bill Dorfman was featured in The Daily Mail’s article in which he was recognized as being a dentist to the stars and for being able to give his patients a fabulous smile.
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 7, 2016 •
This week In The Spotlight, Dr. Tina Koopersmith, founder of the West Coast Women’s Reproductive Center, stole the spotlight in Women’s Health’s article on Kim Kardashian and surrogacy. Dr. Koopersmith explains that there are many variables when using a surrogate and warns all "couples should speak with their fertility expert to clearly understand all the options." Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban was also front and center in the spotlight when featured in Refinery29’s article where she describes what causes our eyelids to get oily and how the oil is formed. Let’s not forget about booming makeup brand NUDESTIX, as they were featured in The Fabzilla’s blog post, Corporate Catwalk’s article and Her Campus’ article where products such as #BerryNudeLips and their new Nude(art)ist Magnetic Eye Box Set were featured and admired.
