WEEK OF MARCH 6, 2017 •
The spotlight continued to shine bright on our clients this week! Our team’s dedication resulted in fantastic features for both celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, and holistic plastic surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn – reaching more than 5.3 million readers combined! Due to our PR team’s outreach, beauty brand NUDESTIX’s recent launch of their brand new products were documented on the Instagram Live Stories of beauty website, Allure and the lifestyle media website, SHEfinds- reaching more than 433,000 viewers! In addition to social takeovers, NUDESTIX’s new launch of their All Over Face Stix reached an additional 15 million readers on renowned beauty websites, Allure and HelloGiggles. This week, the marketing team launched the tagline for Kwan’s Dermatology, which reflects how the brand embraces diversity and authenticity.

Spotlight’s PR team always ensures that our clients steal the spotlight! As a result of our team’s persistency, celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban delivered her expertise to more than 2 million Redbook readers. Dr. Shamban reached an addition 1 million readers on Teen Vogue, online. Our team also helped Holistic plastic surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn reach more than 3 million readers in an online article for Reader’s Digest. We also secured press mentions for, NUDESTIX on the lifestyle website, Bustle and on beauty blog websites, The Stripe & Olivia Frescura – reaching more than 16.4 million readers combined. We also stays up to date on the latest social media changes. This week our team overhauled all of our client’s Pinterest pages to leverage the new slideshow feature and to optimize their look on the platform.
WEEK OF FEBRUARY 20, 2017 •
Today marks another successful week for Spotlight's PR team and our clients. Our team’s determination twice placed the prosperous makeup brand, NUDESTIX in front of more than 1.2 million readers, on the notable lifestyle website, Byrdie. As a result of the PR team’s strong relationships with online media, Spotlight also secured incredible press mentions for Dr. Ava Shamban and NUDESTIX on the online beauty website, NewBeauty - reaching more than 697,000 readers. This week also marked the beginning stages of our team’s execution of the marketing plan for Spotlight’s newest client, Dr. William Kwan. After solidifying the Brand Foundation, the creative team created the new logo design which established the brand’s color palette – now being implemented throughout the office and all marketing materials. Another great week for the partnership between Spotlight and our clients!
WEEK OF FEBRUARY 13, 2017 •
Persistent outreach from Spotlight’s PR team resulted in fantastic media coverage for our clients this week! Our team’s efforts placed celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, on Vanity Fair online – reaching more than 11.8 million readers. We also landed Dr. Ava's SKINxFIVE on Olivia Jordan’s Instagram – 500,000 followers. NUDESTIX reached an amazing 36 million combined readers on renowned beauty websites, Teen Vogue & Refinery29. Social media mentions included a feature on Obsessee’s Lifestyle Instagram page, reaching 26,000 followers. Spotlight’s design department created a new logo and new practice color palette for renowned ethnic skin expert, William Kwan MD. Spotlight's holistic plastic surgery client, Dr. Anthony Youn, shared his knowledge with more than 10 million readers on the health and fitness website, The Cheat Sheet. Our team also coordinated an interview for Dr. Youn with beauty website, NewBeauty that attracts 698,000 readers.

The Spotlight PR team was the driving force behind our clients stealing the spotlight this week! The week began with two of our renowned clients, Dr. Ava Shamban and Dr. Robert Huizenga, reaching more than 16 million readers in an article on leading beauty website, Bustle! Our team also coordinated an article for holistic plastic surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn, reaching more than 3 million readers on the general-interest website, Reader’s Digest.
The week continued with our team landing features for makeup brand NUDESTIX with beauty influencers, engaging more than 100,000 viewers combined, on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. Spotlight Communications Group is also proud to announce an addition of the country's leading dermatology expert in ethnic skin, Dr. William Kwan, to our agency. WEEK OF JANUARY 30, 2017 •
Our PR team’s determination was instrumental in shining the spotlight on our clients this week! In addition to continued media coverage, our team’s efforts resulted in two amazing social media takeovers. The first was a Snapchat takeover for online beauty website, Nylon. Next up was an Instagram takeover for mega lifestyle website, PopSugar. The Spotlight team also landed fertility expert, Dr. Tina Koopersmith outstanding exposure on two highly influential women’s lifestyle websites, Yahoo!’s beauty page and women’s lifestyle online magazine, SELF – delivering Dr. Koopersmith's message to more than 13 million readers combined! Our client, Dr. Bill Dorfman, was featured on the lifestyle sites, Jetsetter, as well as Trending Dubai – reaching more than 1.5 million readers. Our team also placed holistic plastic surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn in front of 690,000 readers, with a feature on the leading beauty industry website, NewBeauty.
WEEK OF JANUARY 23, 2017 •
Our PR team's dedicated efforts pushed our clients to the forefront of the spotlight this week! The results included notable mentions for NUDESTIX in beauty lifestyle websites, Bustle and Hello Giggles – reaching more than 27.5 million readers! Our growing relationship with beauty editors from fashion & beauty online website, NYLON, lead to a fantastic inclusion for the brand – valued at nearly $11,000. This week was a great example of how a the combination of print, online & social media effectively keeps our clients relevant and positioned as a leading expert. Dr. Ava's mention in People StyleWatch placed her in front of 8.25 million readers. Features in lifestyle websites Byrdie and Bustle added another 17.2 million readers to the mix, and her feature in a New Beauty Magazine video placed her in front of 247,000 targeted subscriber – for a combined total of 26 MILLION people!

Thanks to our PR team’s diligent efforts, our clients were at the forefront of the spotlight this week! Driving activities resulted in exclusives for the launch of NUDESTIX’s Magnetic Matte Lip Pencils. Among this week's top mentions for NUDESTIX include multiple brand and product features in publications such as Cosmopolitan, Yahoo!, PopSugar, Women's Wear Daily, InStyle and Influenster, reaching 45 million readers! Leading health and fitness expert Dr. Robert Huizenga also received fabulous media exposure! Reaching more than 16 million readers, Dr. H describes subtle signs of diabetes to Bustle readers. The Spotlight team also facilitated an interview for Dr. Ava Shamban with New Beauty Magazine, also published on Yahoo!, reachig an amazing 10 million readers! Dr. Ava's skincare expertise was also highlighted in The Cheat Sheet, Influenster, and Who What Wear.
WEEK OF JANUARY 9, 2017 •
The Spotlight team is starting the New Year off strong! As a result of our PR efforts during the opening of celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban’s new skin space, SKINxFIVE, we secured a half page feature in the Jan/Feb issue of Los Angeles’ Angeleno Magazine, with 810,000 impressions. Her exposure didn’t stop there…read on to also see Angeleno’s online mention, inclusion in Glamour.com as well as Cheat Sheet and The Palisadian News’s two-page feature on the new venture. Additionally, this week, thriving makeup brand Nudestix was included in two beauty articles one of the leading beauty websites, PopSugar, for a combined media value of $177,565. Following suite, our also team leveraged an exclusive sneak peek of their new pencils via the digital microblog, Obsessee with a Snapchat Takeover reaching 1.5k followers.
WEEK OF JANUARY 2, 2017 •
Happy New Year from the Spotlight Team! 2017 is off to a great start for our clients. The Spotlight PR team arranged for booming makeup brand NUDESTIX to be featured in three great articles to kick off the year! Allure recommended the NUDESTIX Gel Color Lip + Cheek Pencil in Wicked as a great lip shade for fair skin. The blog Little Blushing Birdie also ranked the Gel Color Lip + Cheek Pencil as the Best Lip Pencil of 2016. In addition, StyleNest UK interviewed NUDESTIX's Co-Founder Taylor Frankel and got the inside scoop on the inspiration behind the brand's success. Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban also had a great week. Dr. Shamban’s new skin space, SKINxFIVE was featured in the local Palisadian Post. The article highlighted Dr. Shamban’s partners in the creation of the space.
