WEEK OF JUNE 5, 2017 •
Spotlight consistently demonstrates our commitment to our clients each week! Starting the week off strong, we secured celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, THREE inclusions on Allure Magazine’s website, reaching more than 10.5 million readers combined! In addition to Dr. Shamban, our team also secured an amazing press mention for our makeup brand client, NUDESTIX, on the beauty and lifestyle website, The Zoe Report, that helped the brand reach more than 1.2 million readers.
WEEK OF MAY 29, 2017 •
The Spotlight PR team’s hard work paid off for our clients yet again this week, including press mentions for Dr. Ava Shamban on Allure Magazine’s website that reached 3.5M readers. Additionally, our team's relationships with TV producers placed Dr. Shamban on Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family TV and on The Doctors TV show, reaching a combined 11.6M viewers. Our team always strives for the best and this week, NUDESTIX make up was also featured on Allure Magazine’s website, reaching more than 3.5 million readers. In addition, Beauty website, Byrdie included NUDESTIX on their Instagram page, announcing a giveaway contest which helped placed the brand in front of Byrdie’s more than 267K followers. WEEK OF MAY 22, 2017 •
This week, Dr. Ava Shamban was included in the June issues of Martha Stewart Living, Allure Magazine and Dr. Oz’s The Good Life - reaching 15M readers. In addition, Dr. Ava (as her patients like to call her), was featured on lifestyle site, Bustle, reaching 16.3M readers! Beauty websites SELF and Allure also mentioned Dr. Shamban, reaching 6.7M readers. Dr. Ava was also featured in StyleCaster and The Fashion Spot, reaching 5.7M readers. Our Client, NUDESTIX, appeared on lifestyle website, PopSugar, and on Seventeen Magazine's website, reaching 22.2M readers. Spotlight secured a taping for our client, Dr. Bill Dorfman, for an inspirational website, Hooplaha. We also secured a feature for Dr. Huizenga in Girls’ Life Magazine - reaching 10.3 million readers. This week our marketing team executed a soft launch of the Kwan Dermatology website.
WEEK OF MAY 15, 2017 •
Spotlight’s clients were shining brighter than ever this week thanks to our PR team’s efforts. First up, leading health and fitness expert, Dr. Robert Huizenga, was featured on Yahoo! Beauty - reaching 10 million readers! Our team then secured inclusions for celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, and makeup brand, NUDESTIX, on Allure Magazine’s website that reached 3.5 million readers - each! In addition, our team secured features in the press for NUDESTIX. The brand was mentioned on beauty/lifestyle websites, PopSugar and Refinery29 - placing them in front 35.3 million readers combined! Kicking off NUDESTIX’s launch of their limited edition #Babeboss Faves Tins, our PR team landed the brand an exclusive interview on Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) that reached 1.4 million readers. NUDESTIX was also mentioned in lifestyle websites, HelloGiggles, SHEfinds, and Byrdie, reaching 14.7 million readers combined.

Spotlight's hard work resulted in a successful week of press mentions. Our team’s relationship with lifestyle website, PopSugar, lead to a contributor piece for NUDESTIX’s co-founder, Taylor Frankel, reaching 19.1 million readers! Spotlight landed dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, on Reader’s Digest and Shape Magazine's websites - reaching 7 million readers combined! This week, NUDESTIX and dermatologist, Dr. William Kwan, were mentioned on beauty website, Byrdie, reaching 2.4 million readers combined! NUDESTIX was also included in the May print issue of Indulge Magazine, reaching 50K readers. NUDESTIX was also featured on several Mother’s Day blog posts. ‘Makeup Obsessed Mom’, ‘Posh Beauty Blog’ and ‘It’s Not About Me’ raved about NUDESTIX’s Magnetic Matte Lip Pencils as the ultimate gift to give this Mother’s Day, which placed the brand in front of more than 95K readers!

As a result of our PR team’s steady outreach, our clients, Dr. Ava Shamban and Dr. Bill Dorfman, both filmed segments for CBS TV special, A List TV, that will reach 13 million viewers upon airing. Additional TV segments were secured for Dr. Shamban on Extra TV and Dr. Dorfman on The Doctors TV - reaching 4.6 million viewers! Aside from TV, dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban was included on Health Magazine’s website reaching 11.8 million readers. Allure Magazine also mentioned Dr. Shamban on their website, which was picked up by Byrdie - reaching 4.7 million readers combined! Additionally, our PR team placed makeup brand, NUDESTIX, on Texas lifestyle/news site, Star-Telegram, reaching 3.8 million readers. NUDESTIX was also mentioned by Hong Kong lifestyle site, HYPEBAE, and on beauty blogger Olivia Frescura’s personal site- reaching 20 K readers.

Our PR team’s dedication placed dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, on the lifestyle site, Bustle, as well as Allure Magazine’s site, reaching a combined 19.8M readers! Dr. Shamban also reached 4.7M readers on InStyle magazine’s site. On TV, Dr. Shamban was included on The Doctors show - reaching 2.3M viewers. PopSugar Beauty also included Spotlight’s client, Dr. Bill Dorfman, in a spot reaching 19.1M viewers upon airing! Makeup client, NUDESTIX, was featured on travel website, SmarterTravel, reaching 3.4M readers. We also secured an interview for NUDESTIX's co-founder, Taylor Frankel, on lifestyle site, HYPEBAE, reaching 20K readers. NUDESTIX appeared on beauty site, Byrdie, reaching 1.2M readers and on beauty site, Global Cosmetics Industry, reaching 46.4K readers. Additionally, the makeup brand reached 12.7 million readers via lifestyle websites Byrdie and HelloGiggles. Spotlight also secured fabulous media exposure for Dr. Ava Shamban, beginning with the April 2017 issues of Redbook and Woman’s Day Magazines, reaching 5.7 million readers combined. Dr. Ava was also mentioned on Health magazine and StyleCaster's websites, reaching an audience of 15.6 million. Dr. Shamban also filmed a TV segment for the Steve Harvey show that will reach 3.7 million viewers upon airing. Spotlight's team accompanied our client, Dr. Bill Dorfman, to the Unite4Humanity Gala red carpet to ensure maximum press exposure. Our client, NUDESTIX, also appeared in the press with an Instagram takeover for beauty website, BYRDIE. Due to our deep relationships with beauty publications, NUDESTIX was featured on Allure Magazine’s website – reaching more than 3.5 million readers. The Spotlight team also works very closely with the editors of Reader’s Digest. This week our team landed a feature for celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban – reaching more than 3.4 million readers. NUDESTIX’s press mentions just keep on growing! In addition to Allure, NUDESTIX reached an additional 1.2 million readers where they were featured TWICE on the influential beauty website, Byrdie! Wrapping up the week, NUDESTIX was also featured in the vegan, culture and arts lifestyle magazine, ORIGIN, where they were recognized as one of the magazine’s favorite natural beauty products.
