WEEK OF APRIL 10, 2017 •
Every week, Spotlight’s PR team ensures that our clients thrive in the press. Our outreach resulted in extensive online press coverage that reached a combined audience of 32.9 million. Renowned client, Dr. Ava Shamban, shared her expertise with 16.3 million readers on the beauty/lifestyle website, Bustle. Dr. Shamban also contributed to an online article for lifestyle website, The Cheat Sheet, reaching 10.1 million readers. Our client, NUDESTIX, also appeared in the press with an Instagram takeover for beauty website, BYRDIE. NUDESTIX's co-founder, Taylor Frankel, shared a “how to” guide on preparing for Coachella, reaching 252K viewers. NUDESTIX received two mentions on pop-culture website, NYLON, reaching 1.2 million readers. Additional mentions for NUDESTIX included The Fashion Spot, SHEfinds, and Influenster reaching 5.1 million readers combined!
WEEK OF APRIL 3, 2017 •
This week, our team positioned our clients in front of their target audiences through media placement in notable publications. Due to our deep relationships with beauty publications, NUDESTIX was featured on Allure Magazine’s website – reaching more than 3.5 million readers. The Spotlight team also works very closely with the editors of Reader’s Digest. This week our team landed a feature for celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban – reaching more than 3.4 million readers. NUDESTIX’s press mentions just keep on growing! In addition to Allure, NUDESTIX reached an additional 1.2 million readers where they were featured TWICE on the influential beauty website, Byrdie! Wrapping up the week, NUDESTIX was also featured in the vegan, culture and arts lifestyle magazine, ORIGIN, where they were recognized as one of the magazine’s favorite natural beauty products.
WEEK OF MARCH 27, 2017 •
Due to our PR team’s dedication, Spotlight’s clients shone in the media this week! Burgeoning makeup brand, NUDESTIX, was featured on E! Online & Seventeen Magazine's website – reaching more than 27 million readers. Our team’s strong relationships with producers of “The Doctors” TV show landed fertility specialist, Dr. Tina Koopersmith, a segment, reaching 2.3 million viewers. Our strong efforts also secured celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, features on Health Magazine’s website, which was picked up by MSN as well as Allure Magazine’s April 2017 issue and website – reaching 26.4 million readers total! Our founder, Candis Melamed, was invited on a segment of The Doctors TV show and our marketing, writing, design & programming team have been diligently executing Kwan Dermatology’s new website. WEEK OF MARCH 20, 2017 •
The Spotlight PR team continuously ensures that our clients gain notable weekly press exposure. This week, the team successfully secured press for our makeup client, NUDESTIX, including Refinery29, WomensWearDaily and Yahoo Beauty, reaching a combined audience of 28.1M. The team also placed leading medical expert, Dr. Robert Huizenga, on nutritional website, Inspirations & Celebrations, – which reached 14.3K readers. Additionally, Spotlight’s efforts resulted in a contributor placement for client Dr. Jeremy Fine, who appeared in Health Magazine – reaching an impressive 1.3M readers. Our Marketing team wrapped up the week by creating branded artwork for ethnic skincare expert, Dr. William Kwan. The designs, which reflect the brand’s core values, can be seen in his practice’s reception area in San Francisco, CA.
WEEK OF MARCH 13, 2017 •
As a result of our team’s strong-willed efforts, celebrity dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban was featured on Allure Magazine's website, which was then picked up by Yahoo! News – reaching more than an amazing 13.5 million readers combined! Additionally, Dr. Shamban was featured on the beauty and lifestyle website, Bustle, that placed her in front of 16.3 million readers! Our PR team was also instrumental in securing great exposure for NUDESTIX on Refinery29 and Bustle as well as Marie Claire and Allure – reaching more than 40.2 million total readers. Dr. Anthony Youn shared his knowledge with more than 607,000 readers on NewBeauty's website. Spotlight’s marketing established a new style for the Kwan Dermatology team that will effectively represent the practice rebrand.
WEEK OF MARCH 6, 2017 •
The spotlight continued to shine bright on our clients this week! Our team’s dedication resulted in fantastic features for both celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, and holistic plastic surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn – reaching more than 5.3 million readers combined! Due to our PR team’s outreach, beauty brand NUDESTIX’s recent launch of their brand new products were documented on the Instagram Live Stories of beauty website, Allure and the lifestyle media website, SHEfinds- reaching more than 433,000 viewers! In addition to social takeovers, NUDESTIX’s new launch of their All Over Face Stix reached an additional 15 million readers on renowned beauty websites, Allure and HelloGiggles. This week, the marketing team launched the tagline for Kwan’s Dermatology, which reflects how the brand embraces diversity and authenticity.

Spotlight’s PR team always ensures that our clients steal the spotlight! As a result of our team’s persistency, celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban delivered her expertise to more than 2 million Redbook readers. Dr. Shamban reached an addition 1 million readers on Teen Vogue, online. Our team also helped Holistic plastic surgeon, Dr. Anthony Youn reach more than 3 million readers in an online article for Reader’s Digest. We also secured press mentions for, NUDESTIX on the lifestyle website, Bustle and on beauty blog websites, The Stripe & Olivia Frescura – reaching more than 16.4 million readers combined. We also stays up to date on the latest social media changes. This week our team overhauled all of our client’s Pinterest pages to leverage the new slideshow feature and to optimize their look on the platform.
WEEK OF FEBRUARY 20, 2017 •
Today marks another successful week for Spotlight's PR team and our clients. Our team’s determination twice placed the prosperous makeup brand, NUDESTIX in front of more than 1.2 million readers, on the notable lifestyle website, Byrdie. As a result of the PR team’s strong relationships with online media, Spotlight also secured incredible press mentions for Dr. Ava Shamban and NUDESTIX on the online beauty website, NewBeauty - reaching more than 697,000 readers. This week also marked the beginning stages of our team’s execution of the marketing plan for Spotlight’s newest client, Dr. William Kwan. After solidifying the Brand Foundation, the creative team created the new logo design which established the brand’s color palette – now being implemented throughout the office and all marketing materials. Another great week for the partnership between Spotlight and our clients!

Persistent outreach from Spotlight’s PR team resulted in fantastic media coverage for our clients this week! Our team’s efforts placed celebrity dermatologist, Dr. Ava Shamban, on Vanity Fair online – reaching more than 11.8 million readers. We also landed Dr. Ava's SKINxFIVE on Olivia Jordan’s Instagram – 500,000 followers. NUDESTIX reached an amazing 36 million combined readers on renowned beauty websites, Teen Vogue & Refinery29. Social media mentions included a feature on Obsessee’s Lifestyle Instagram page, reaching 26,000 followers. Spotlight’s design department created a new logo and new practice color palette for renowned ethnic skin expert, William Kwan MD. Spotlight's holistic plastic surgery client, Dr. Anthony Youn, shared his knowledge with more than 10 million readers on the health and fitness website, The Cheat Sheet. Our team also coordinated an interview for Dr. Youn with beauty website, NewBeauty that attracts 698,000 readers.

The week continued with our team landing features for makeup brand NUDESTIX with beauty influencers, engaging more than 100,000 viewers combined, on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.
